Evident Essential
Evident Essential is our basic and essential course for all witnesses.
Every witness is different, and every trial is different. Our trainers use their experience and apply their expert knowledge to get the best performance from any witness.
Our trainers will start by familiarizing each witness with the trial and arbitration process from the perspective of a witness, with valuable insights into how advocates seek to handle witnesses to their own advantage and how the tribunal assesses witness evidence.
The cornerstone of each course is 3-4 hours of witness preparation with a barrister, performing mock cross-examination, tailored to the witness and their needs. Trainers demonstrate the tactics likely to be employed, enabling the witnessto be better prepared for giving their evidence. Our barrister-trainers are supported by performance coaches, adding a unique and valuable perspective.
Course Content
Training can be conducted in venues and at times suitable to busy witnesses, including through video conferencing.
Our training sessions are recorded and include a video-review session and a takeaway Fundamentals Guide, so that the witness can retain a better understanding of how they can improve.

familiarization session, explanation, mock cross-examination, good techniques and bad habits, video review with barrister-trainer

All barrister-trainers have more than 10-years experience

On location at client’s or solicitors’ offices or an external venue

Timing: Our trainers can be available on weekends, evenings and online via online video conferencing although we strongly recommend that the cross-examination takes place in person for best results.
